(NORTHPORT, NY) Angela’s House, a local non-profit celebrated their third home (Angela’s House III) at their golf outing on Monday, June 10th. Not even rain would stop golfers from taking the course at Indian Hills in Northport, NY. Our sponsors helped to make our 11th annual Angela’s House golf outing something we will never forget. Local radio personality Bill Powers from WRCN emceed the event and added his touching story of how Angela’s House helped him and his family when their daughter was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder. The long anticipated new home will open in late summer and it will have the ability to care for children that require ventilators support them. It has taken eight years to make this home a reality.
