(FARMINGDALE, NY) Angela’s House, a local non-profit that assists families caring for medically fragile children celebrated the opening of their third Medical Facility in Stony Brook with a successful comedy show fundraiser on November 14th at Farmingdale’s Colonial Springs Golf Course. The 7pm evening event was hosted by “Laughter Saves Lives”, a comedy groupe inspired by their own struggles to aid others in need.
This spectacular fundraiser to benefit Angela’s House featured comedian’s Mike Keegan, Maria Walsh and headliner, Tom Daddario. The Colonial Springs Golf Club treated guests to a wonderful variety of dinner options while raffle items ranging from home appliances to rock music memorabilia sat on display.

NYC’s bravest, John Larocchia who was named “Funniest Fireman” by ABC’s “The View” in 2001, founded Laughter Saves Lives in an effort to remember his fallen brothers. Haz-Mat 1 and Squad 288 of Maspeth, Queens, lost 19 lives on September 11th. Their main focus is to hold successful comedy events for organizations and individuals in need while honoring all who gave their lives on 9/11. Laughter is the greatest counter to sorrow.
