(Long Island, NY) The Fifth Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on February 1, 2016 at 7:10 am in Valley Stream.
According to detectives, a 34 year old male victim left his East Hawthorne Ave residence and was approached by two unknown male subjects that demanded to know where his gold chain was. The victim was then bound by duct tape and bought back into the house along with another 36 year old female victim already in the home.

Subject one who held a black handgun and subject two who held a duffle bag that contained a rifle ransacked the home and put proceeds into the bag. The subjects then fled on foot in an unknown direction. The male victim soon later was able to call 911.
Proceeds were and undetermined amount of US currency and assorted jewelry. There were no injuries reported. Subject one is described as being male, black, 6’0” tall, slim build, black hooded sweat shirt, black jeans, and black boots.
Subject two is described as male, black, 5’7” tall, medium build, black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, black boots, dark mouth covering face mask.
