(Long Island, NY) A grand jury has indicted a 23 year old man for his role in the shooting death last year of a man in a Central Islip rooming house, Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said.
Raesean (Ray-Shawn) Allen is alleged to have been involved in the robbery of Matthew Gilmore on May 28, 2013. When detectives arrived at the scene at 365 Clayton Street, they found Gilmore dead of multiple gunshot wounds.

Judge Richard Ambro will unseal the indictment tomorrow, April 1, in county court in Riverhead.
The court calendar will be called at 9:30 am.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
