(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police have arrested a Center Moriches man for the shooting death of a man that occurred on December 13.
David Lemp was arrested on December 15 and charged by Homicide Squad detectives with Manslaughter 1st Degree for shooting Nathanial Lathan at Lemp’s home on December 13.

Lathan, 47, drove himself to 7-Eleven, located at 632 Main St. in Center Moriches, following the shooting and he was then transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital where he died.
Lemp, 38, will be held overnight at the Seventh Precinct for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on December 16.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
