Saturday, February 15 at the East End Arts Gallery
(RIVERHEAD, NY) East End Arts is pleased to announce a new program, kicking off on Saturday, February 15, 2014: Artisan Showcase Series. The Artisan Showcase on February 15 will feature East End Arts member Debbie Tierney, a linocut artist from Brookhaven, who will be demonstrating the process of linocut from the inception of the idea, working drawings, carving, and printing techniques that she uses.
East End Arts encourages the public to stop by between 11 AM and 3 PM to check out the demonstration, meet the artist and see her at work as she creates her art in the East End Arts Gallery for one day only. Debbie’s print in our current show, a linocut titled Her Muse, has already been sold, but she will have other matted prints for sale with the blocks she used to create them at this artisan showcase. The East End Arts Gallery is located at 133 E. Main Street in Riverhead, NY. Future events in the Artisan Showcase Series will be held on Saturday, March 29; Saturday, May 24; and Saturday, July 5.
Currently on display in our Gallery is the Annual Members’ Show: The Muse, a non-juried all media art show which will be up for viewing until March 7, 2014. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 4 PM and the public is always welcome.
