(Long Island, NY) Fourth Grader Orobo Ogbovoch, the first place winner of the Arts Alive LI poster design contest, recently helped kick off the start of the 2nd Annual Arts Alive LI festival, showcasing Long Island’s art, entertainment and cultural attractions.
Arts Alive LI, presented by the Long Island Arts Alliance and Bethpage Federal Credit Union, runs now through the end of October at venues all across Long Island. Long Islanders and visitors are invited to attend and participate in over 35 different events including wine tastings, cabaret performances, comedic acts, art exhibits and workshops, poetry readings, dance collaborations, acoustic nights and so much more, many of which are free of charge.
