“The Cold Spring Harbor Firehouse museum is symbolic of the tradition of volunteer service to our local community, by the hundreds of men and women over time who have dedicated their lives to fighting ravaging fires,” Lupinacci began. “This firehouse is not only a testament to these dedicated volunteers, but it also represents many of the qualities which make Cold Spring Harbor such a tight knit and unique area to live and raise a family,” Lupinacci continued.
“The preservation of this firehouse, what it represents and the history within its wainscoted walls is so very important to our community, and it is an honor for me to be here in Cold Spring Harbor to celebrate the seventh anniversary of its commemorative museum,” concluded Lupinacci.
