(Long Island, NY) Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,I –South Huntington) recently joined the LIONS Center for the Blind for their third anniversary celebration. This year’s anniversary was nautically themed, taking place on a paddle boat which departed from Bay Shore Marina. Lupinacci wished the many senior citizens “bon voyage” as they departed for their three hour excursion at sea.
“The LIONS Club is so devoted to expanding opportunities for both senior citizens and the blind members of our community. Let us celebrate the third anniversary of a commendable organization whose successes are evident on the happy faces of each participant today,” Lupinacci opened.

“The Lions Club Senior Center for the Blind is the only such recreational program of its kind in Suffolk County and is designed specifically to meet the needs of blind and visually impaired senior citizens,” said Debbie Costa, Co-Director of the senior center. “The goal of the center is to provide members with a safe place to socialize and exercise both their minds and bodies.”
“Thank you for inviting me today to attend this incredible event and I wish everyone an enjoyable afternoon on the water!” Lupinacci concluded.
