Women’s equality bills officially become law today
(Long Island, NY) “I’m proud to have been a part of such a forward-thinking step in New York State history. I was proud to deliver protections against harassment at home and in the workplace, and support equal pay for equal work. New York’s women deserve these protections and I’m glad I was able to help usher individual bills into law. It’s a shame the Assembly Majority decided to play politics and refused to pass these bills even sooner,” said Lupinacci (R,C,I-South Huntington).
