(Long Island, NY) Assemblyman Michael Montesano (R,C,I-Glen Head) today proudly shared the success of the “Thanksgiving in July” food drive. The food drive was held during the last week of July, and was hosted by the Assembly Minority Long Island Delegation in conjunction with Island Harvest and local Stop & Shop Supermarkets.
“I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the members of our community who helped make our “Thanksgiving in July” food drive a great success,” said Montesano. “Your generous donations are making the world of difference for many families across our community. I look forward to working with Island Harvest and local Stop & Shop locations to host another fruitful event in the future.”
