(Long Island, NY) Assemblyman Anthony Palumbo (R,C-New Suffolk) and Assemblyman Dean Murray (R,C,I-East Patchogue) recently welcomed students and staff from Longwood Central School District to the New York State Assembly Chamber. The group was in Albany to discuss legislative priorities related to education including full funding for their schools and restoring music, arts, athletic and academic programs to their schools

“I was honored to host the students and staff from Longwood Central School District in Albany this week,” said Palumbo. “Their depth of knowledge about these very significant issues was quite extensive. I have committed a great deal of my time here in Albany fighting for their education and a foundation to a successful future. They will always be welcome here in the Assembly chamber.”
