(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police on Monday, February 8 arrested a Locust Valley man after patrons held him at the scene following a bank robbery in Farmingdale.
A man entered TD Bank, located at 90 Broadhollow Road, approached a teller and then leaned over the counter and stole money from the drawer at 9:40 a.m. As the suspect was attempting to flee the bank, two patrons held him in the ATM vestibule until police arrived.

Pattern Crime Unit detectives arrested and charged Jesse Josefsberg, 34, with Robbery 3rd Degree. He will be held overnight at the First Precinct for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip tomorrow.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
