(LONG ISLAND, NY) The Nassau County Police Department has reported an attempted robbery that occurred in Freeport on March 5, 2014 at 8:00 P.M.
According to First Squad detectives, a male victim, delivering Chinese food to a residence on Raynor St., was approached by a subject armed with a black handgun, who demanded money. The victim dropped the food and proceeded to run to his vehicle. The subject fled on foot through the rear yard of 45 Raynor Street.
No injuries were reported.
The subject is described as a male black, approximately 20 years of age, 5’6” tall, 140 lbs., and wearing all black clothing. No further description is available.
