(Long Island, NY) The Homicide Squad is investigating an Undetermined Death that occurred on Monday, March 07, 2016 at 6:31 am in East Meadow.
According to detectives, Nassau County Police Department Third Precinct Police Officers along with the Ambulance Bureau responded to a call at the Nassau County Correctional Facility- 100 Carman Avenue, East Meadow, for an inmate not breathing.

Upon arrival, medical personnel were rendering aid to the 63 year old male inmate. After further assessment, the inmate was pronounced deceased by a Nassau County Police Department Paramedic at 6:42 am and was transported to the Nassau University Medical Center.
The Homicide Squad and the Nassau County Medical Examiner’s Office are conducting an active investigation.
