(Long Island, NY) The Third Squad reports the arrest of a Manhattan man on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 7:50 p.m. for Disseminating Indecent Material to a Minor.
According to detectives, Vincent T. Iannaco, 71, met a 13 year old female through cell phone social media apps. known as KiK messenger and Whisper app.

Iannaco posed as a 31 year old male and proceeded to send numerous text messages of a sexual nature to the victim beginning on November 4, 2015. The victim’s parents discovered the messages and contacted police.
Third Squad detectives along with Crimes Against Property detectives located Iannaco on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at his residence and placed him under arrest.
Iannaco is charged with Disseminating Indecent Material to a Minor 1st degree, Disseminating Indecent Material to a Minor 2nd degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He will be arraigned on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
