(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a pedestrian in Wyandanch on Sunday, October 4.
Anthony Traina was driving a 2015 GMC pickup truck south on Straight Path and attempted to make a left turn onto Long Island Avenue when the vehicle struck a pedestrian at approximately 8:30 p.m.

The pedestrian, Keith Norman, 58, of Wyandanch, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner. Traina, 32, of Dix Hills, was not injured.
The pickup truck was impounded for a safety check. The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is asked to call the First Squad detectives at 631-854-8152.
