(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a Shirley man on Wednesday, October 28.
Edward Korianski, 57, of Shirley, was driving a 2008 Chrysler Aspen southbound on Margin Drive West in Shirley when he apparently lost control of his vehicle at approximately 2:35 p.m. The Chrysler went through a vacant lot at the corner of Pheasant Way where it struck a tree.

Korianski was transported to Brookhaven memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation is continuing and the vehicle was impounded for a safety check.
