(Baldwin, N.Y) Vanessa Best, CCS-P, CPC, AHIMA ICD-10 Trainer and CEO of Precision HealthCare Consultants was awarded the “2013 Health Care Provider Award” by the New York Power Networking in the HUB on September 21, 2013. This is in recognition of valuable contributions and outstanding services to community as an administrative medical practitioner and healthcare management specialist. The 3rd Annual “New York Power Networking in the HUB”sponsored by HUTimes was a true business-2-business forum. Mayor Wayne J Hall, Sr of Hempstead stated “I extend congratulations to you on this event, and commend honorees for years of unflagging dedication to the community.”

Organizers Phil Andrews, President of 100 Black Men in Long Island and Elseah Chea from HUTimes, quoted the time honored African proverb, “It takes a village….to raise a child,and it takes a community of like-minded people to succeed.” The anedotes continued with Legislator and Minority Leader Kevan Abrams as he quoted Woodrow Wilson “The Business of America is being in Business.”
The event included presentations from Gail Lewis, Governor of Toastmasters Area 76 and renowned Business Coach, Mr. Jack Signorelli, Manager Partner of Soundview Business Solutions. The award ceremony concluded with Ms. Best receiving a Certificate of Recognition by Councilwoman Dorothy L Goosby, Town of Hempstead; and Cititation from State of New York, Nassau County, Office of the Executive Edward P. Mangano. Mr. Raymond Thomas, Nassau County Department of Health presented the award.
