(Long Island, NY) The First Squad reports the arrest of a Baldwin man for Burglary that occurred in Baldwin on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 11:17 am.
According to detectives, a 16 year old female ran out of her Baldwin residence and called 911 after hearing noises coming from a locked bedroom when no one else was at home.

First Precinct Police Officers responded and upon arrival they searched the home and then went to the rear yard when they observed the defendant Matthew Moziy, 33, exiting the rear door carrying a safe and carrying a screwdriver.
First Precinct Police Officers placed the defendant into police custody without incident. There were no injuries reported.
Matthew Moziy is charged with Burglary 2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, and Possession of Burglary Tools. He will be charged in First District Court in Hempstead on Saturday, November 21, 2015.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
