(Rockville Centre, NY) A little bit of Key West is coming to Rockville Centre to help warm the coldest days of winter. The 6th annual Enchanted Winterland will be holding a “Margaritaville Evening” on Saturday, February 1st, 2014 at 7:30 pm at the Wilbur Arts Center at Molloy College.

Attendees at the January Village Board Meeting were treated to a sneak peak of the event. The Board of Trustees is calling on all residents to pull out their flip flops and come listen to the sounds of “Parrot Beach,” a Jimmy Buffet tribute band, while helping such a worthy cause. This year’s honorees are Chris, Lori, and John Lawrence of CJ’s Coffee Shop.
The evening will benefit the Rockville Centre Community Fund, which has been helping out neighbors in need for over twenty years. Founded in 1987 by former Mayor Eugene Murray, the RVC Community Fund is a not-for-profit tax-exempt charity dedicated to helping residents of the Village of Rockville Centre who have emergency financial needs. The fund responds quickly and confidentially to requests for assistance or to referrals by friends and neighbors of individuals facing financial difficulties.
Tickets are $60 and include food, drink, and entertainment. For tickets or more information go to: http://alumni.molloy.edu/
