(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a bicyclist in Bay Shore on Monday, January 4.
Thomas Felice Jr. was driving a 2009 Jeep Cherokee northbound on Fifth Avenue at Dowsing Avenue when his vehicle struck a male bicyclist who was also traveling north on Fifth Avenue at approximately 5:30 a.m.

The bicyclist, who has not been identified, was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore where he was pronounced dead. Felice, 32, was not injured in the crash.
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
