(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the death of a male found on a Miller Place beach yesterday.
On Wednesday, March 12, at 4:27 p.m., Sixth Precinct police officers were called to the beach in front of the Miller Beach Surf Club, located at 23 Harbor Beach Road, after a man looking for driftwood discovered the body of a man lying on the sand. A preliminary investigation by a Physician Assistant from the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s office indicates that the man was a victim of violence. The victim has been taken to the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner where an autopsy will be performed.
