(Long Island, NY) The Major Case Bureau reports the details of an arrest for Grand Larceny that occurred between April 22, 2015 and September 23, 2015 in Bellmore.
According to Crimes Against Property Detectives, defendant Doreen Bilotto, 58, of Valley Stream was employed as a bookkeeper for Metrocity Group, Inc., located at 2283 Bellmore Avenue. The defendant added unauthorized funds in various amounts to her personal paycheck. She would then alter the company business records in an attempt to hide the larceny causing a $10,000 loss to the company.

After an investigation defendant Bilotto was placed under arrest on September 29, 2015 after surrendering to the Nassau County Police Department.
Defendant Doreen Bilotto is being charged with Grand Larceny 3rd Degree and Falsifying Business Records 1st Degree. She will be arraigned on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at First District Court, Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
