(Long Island, NY) A 31 year old Brentwood man, Jeffry Rosales, pleaded guilty today during jury selection in Suffolk County court to a charge of rape in the first degree.
According to the indictment Rosales engaged in sexual intercourse with a female victim younger than 13 years of age in 2012.

Rosales will be sentenced to 17 years of incarceration and 25 years of post-release supervision on July 8. The defendant waived his right to appeal.
Rosales is also awaiting sentencing in federal court for a robbery conviction.
