(Long Island, NY) The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Brooklyn man for Falsifying Business Records that occurred on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. in Lynbrook.
According to the Crimes Against Property detectives, Octavian Ocasio, 44, did offer New York State vehicle inspection stickers for sale on the website Letgo.

The defendant was placed under arrest without incident by detectives in the parking lot of 603 Sunrise Highway when he produced the NYS inspection sticker for sale.
Ocasio was charged with Falsifying Business Records 2nd degree and three (3) counts of Fictitious Inspection Sticker and will be arraigned on Wednesday, February 03, 2016 at First District Court in Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
