(NEW YORK) Colin Crowley, President of the College Democrats of New York, issued the following statement in response to President Barack Obama’s 2014 State of the Union Address:
“The President has once again shown that he is on the side of students and young Americans. Whether you are in high school and examining your choices for the future, a college student planning for a career, a recent graduate paying down your debt, or a returning veteran seeking a new path, the President has laid out a plan of action that provides opportunity for you.
“We heard much of this agenda when the President toured Upstate New York last summer where he spoke directly to the young people of this state and renewed his commitment to the next generation. We in the College Democrats of New York are proud to have the President fighting for our values and priorities.”
