King’s endorsement highlights the importance of sending McGrath to Albany
(Long Island, NY) Long Island Congressman Peter King announced his resounding endorsement today for Chris McGrath for State Senate in the Special Election in New York State Senate’s Ninth District.
“Long Island needs people in Albany to fight for them. Chris McGrath is a dedicated and active member and has fought for men and women and children throughout the community. And he fought for the first responders after 9/11. Let’s send Chris to Albany to fight for all of us and make sure Long Island gets its fair share. Chris will fight to keep our taxes low, and make sure the New York City politicians don’t try to take money from our Long Island schools,” said Congressman Peter King.
“I am proud to endorse Chris McGrath for State Senate,” concluded Congressman King.
“Congressman King is one of the most well respected members of Congress. I am grateful for his support and endorsement. In the days and years after 9/11, Congressman King has shaped the way the United States has looked at and dealt with the terrorist threats facing our Country. If I am elected as our next State Senator, I look forward to working with Congressman King to help all Long Islanders,” said Chris McGrath.
