Members from the Suffolk County Police Department and New York State Police along with Suffolk County Crime Stoppers personnel, Citizen Academy graduates and various community leaders distributed 300 hams and turkeys to people in need at the Sixth Annual Cops Who Care food giveaway held in Brentwood on December 20.
Private donors and police unions provided funding for the event.
