(New York, NY) The Fair Media Council Board of Directors is happy to announce that it has unanimously elected Craig V. Rizzo as its newest member. Rizzo is currently a partner at Bartlett, McDonough, and Monaghan, LLP, which handles all aspects of civil litigation including general and municipal liability along with an emphasis on healthcare and medical malpractice litigation.

Fair Media Council Executive Director Jaci Clement commented, “Craig is actively involved in community on many different levels and has distinguished himself as a regional leader in specialized topics in a short period of time.”
Rizzo has a very extensive and impressive career in both law and healthcare. Previously, Rizzo had served as Legislative Aide to the Chairman of the NYS Senate Healthcare Committee, Senator Kemp Hannon. In addition to currently serving on the Fair Media Council’s Board, Rizzo has also given back to his community through giving speeches and presentations to many major medical centers as well as through his service as Honorary Vice Chairman for Toys for Tots.
Rizzo currently serves as the Chair of the NuHealth Board of Executives and on the Advisory board of Franklin Hospital Center as well. He is also one of the founding members of the Long Island Medical Foundation as well as a founding Advisory Board member of the Feinstein Medical Research Institute.
The Fair Media Council (FMC) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that educates businesses, nonprofits and the public to become media savvy. FMC also advocates for quality local news coverage and has about 200 New York Metro area businesses and nonprofits as members.
