Veteran Music Execs join forces with Devour the Day and Achieve another Top 10 Record
(New York, NY) Music industry veterans Jerry Blair, Chris Woltman and Tony Cammarota have another Top 10 record to add to their illustrious careers; the trio have come together with music maven David Cash and his hard rock band Devour The Day for their single “Good Man” (the lead track from the debut album “Time & Pressure”) which will hit the aforementioned benchmark for the first time as of Monday September 30th, 2013.

Devour the Day was formed in early 2012 by former Egypt Central members Joey Chicago and Blake Allison; their debut album was co-produced with Skidd Mills and the first single “Good Man” is now a Top 10 Active Rock radio hit. Recently, they toured with Sevendust, Otherwise and

He then partnered up with Chris Woltman, Jerry Blair and Tony Cammarota and secured a distribution deal for the label with Universal Music‘s independent arm Caroline Records, which all ultimately led to the release of the album and this great achievement for all parties involved.
Never ones to rest on their laurels, Global Entertainment Management’s Jerry Blair and Tony Cammarota are also working with superstar artist Wyclef Jean on his upcoming release “The Carnival Begins” and Element1’s Chris Woltman is also working with established rockers Family Force Five and has MTV’s “Artist To Watch” Twenty One Pilots signed to Fueled By Ramon/Atlantic.

Jerry Blair has been involved with top labels and artists that have defined popular culture and airwaves for over 25 years. Heading the West coast office of Chrysalis Records at the height of the 80’s, working with Huey Lewis, Pat Benetar, Billy Idol, Jethro Tull and Blondie, he went on to spend the next 11 years at Columbia Records Group, the dominant label in the business throughout the 90’s. As executive vice president, Blair oversaw the career development of Mariah Carey (the number one selling female artist of all time) The Fugees, Destiny’s Child, and Jessica Simpson. He directed the campaigns that brought Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel and Aerosmith’s greatest triumphs. Blair moved onto Arista records as executive vice president. Under his tutelage, the airwaves exploded with usher, Outkast, Pink and Dido. Continuing to push the limits of market crossover, Blair spearheaded the campaign for Ricky Martin, introducing him to an Anglo audience and making Martin a household name.This initiated the Latin crossover explosion, which included Mark Anthony, Shakira, and Jennifer Lopez. Founder of Element 1 Music, Marketing & Management -Chris Woltman is unquestionably one of the most forward thinking executives in the music industry today, a philosophy that was forged in the foundation of twenty-plus years of multi-faceted experiences. Tony Cammarota’s tenure at Columbia Records demonstrates the development of a strong cross-company executive network. Examples of key contributions include creating methods for combining advertising and secured content delivery, and strategizing on campaigns for priority releases from artists such as AC/DC, Beyonce Knowles, and Aerosmith. He has planned tactically and strategically in an ever evolving business. Prior management has described him as a leader who thinks on his feet, juggles numerous projects, and analyzes and condenses information to allow the team to prioritize their time.
