(Long Island, NY) A daycare aide from Brooklyn who pleaded guilty to child endangerment charges is scheduled for sentencing in Riverhead today, Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said.
On December 3 of last year Nicole Noble, 35, abandoned two toddlers in her care at Westfield South Shore Mall in Bay Shore. The children, ages 2 and 3, were found playing unattended and authorities reunited the two children, who are not related, with their parents.

Noble, an employee of the Elite Christian Daycare Center in Brooklyn, claimed she left the children alone “to teach them a lesson” after they misbehaved and played hide-and-seek. She pleaded guilty to child abandonment and endangering the welfare of a child on July 9.
State Supreme Court Justice Richard Ambro (fourth floor of the courthouse) made a conditional promise to sentence the defendant to time served and five years of probation supervision with mental health conditions. The court calendar starts at 9:30 am.
