(Long Island, NY) On June 25, 2015, Hempstead-based EAC Network hosted its 26th Annual Golf for Good at the exquisite North Shore Country Club. The day honored former EAC Network Chief Operating Officer Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr., now President & CEO at the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, and former EAC Network Board Member, Matthew L. Smith, President of Standard Valuation Services, Inc., for their dedication to EAC Network and to helping the community at large.

“We are truly indebted to those who come out and support our golf outing each year,” explains Lance W. Elder, President & CEO at EAC Network, “and this year is no different. We thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for helping us to continue our work to empower, assist, and care for people in need across Long Island and New York City.”

Following a beautiful day on the course, guests gathered for a dinner reception emceed by the one and only Jackie “The Joke Man” Martling. Over $140,000 was raised from event participation, including a generous contribution from lead sponsor, BWD Group, LLC. These much-needed funds will support all of the human service agency’s programs and services that protect at-risk children, support senior citizens, help people with mental health and substance abuse problems, educate people seeking financial independence, assist individuals who are under or unemployed, mediate disputes, and work with families in crisis.
