(Farmingdale, NY) Total Body Boot Camp and Performance Center (TBBC) raised approximately $945 hosting its “Boot Camp for a Cause” event to support the local non-profit organization, Angela’s House, on Saturday, Jan. 11th. The Hauppauge-based non-profit organization assists families caring for medically frail children either at home or in special homes that offer 24-hour nursing support.
“Total Body Boot Camp was honored to be able to put on such an exciting and worthy event to support Angela’s House,” said TBBC owner/operator Billy Hofacker. “We hope to host more such events with other local non-profit groups in the near future.”
Approximately 35 people participated in the hour-long event, which included a dynamic, 45-minute workout. Afterwards, Angela’s House Director Bob Policastro selected the winning ticket for a 50/50 raffle.
TBBC’s “Boot Camp for a Cause” asked participants to donate money to Angela’s House by purchasing Gold ($50), Silver ($30) or Bronze ($15) donation levels. Each level provided different offers for the participants to use towards a Total Body Boot Camp service. Angela’s House received all of the proceeds from the fundraiser.
