(Long Island, NY) The Public Information Office reports the details of a Fatal Auto Accident that occurred in Inwood on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 4:15 am.
According to police, a BMW travelling south on Sheridan Boulevard and a garbage truck that was travelling west on Bayview Avenue did collide causing both vehicles to become engulfed in flames.

The Inwood Fire Department responded to the scene and extinguished the flames. Two occupants of the auto were pronounced deceased at the scene. The male driver of the truck was transported to a local hospital and was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
