(Long Island, NY) The Seventh Squad reports the arrest of a Ronkonkoma woman on Sunday, June 07, 2015 for Burglary at 4:50 p.m. in Wantagh.
According to detectives, on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 6:00 p.m . Taylor A. Vigliotti, 33, entered her former place of employment the South Bellmore Veterinary Group located at 2506 Merrick Road, Bellmore using a key she had kept after being fired a week earlier. While in the facility she removed cash from a desk draw as well as additional money from a safe which was opened using a second key she had taken prior to her dismissal.

The owner of the veterinary office observed Vigliotti on video surveillance after opening the office Sunday morning and notified police. Detectives located the defendant on Sunday, June 07, 2015 at 4:50 p.m. in Wantagh and placed her under arrest without incident.
Vigliotti is charged with Burglary 3rd degree and will be arraigned on Monday, June 8, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
