(Long Island, NY) Businesses and nonprofits seeking to develop their social media outreach efforts will find FMC’s Summer Social Media Boot Camp the perfect way to jump start their efforts. Highlighted by a morning keynote address by Edelman PR’s Steve Rubel, the event features six workshops, plenty of networking and a dress code of shorts and flip flops. It happens on July 19, 7.30 a.m. to 12 noon at Briarcliffe College, Bethpage, N.Y.
Rubel is the chief content strategist at Edelman PR– the largest public relations firm in the world. With more than 70,000 followers on Twitter, Rubel has built a career by being ahead of the curve. An active blogger, he also shares his insights in “The Clip Report,” a virtual scrapbook about the emerging future of media.
