(Long Island, NY) Narcotics/Vice Bureau detectives report the details of four arrests for possession of heroin that occurred in Levittown on Thursday, 05/25/15 at 10:35 P.M.
According to detectives, Narcotics/Vice detectives along with Bureau of Special Operations police officers, while conducting an investigation at at 2977 Hempstead Tpke. in the parking lot of CVS, approached a 2004 Honda Accord operated by Thomas Moscarella, 22, along occupants Anthony Guerra, 23, Nicole Norelius, 23, Jason Norelius, 18, all of Lindenhurst, when they observed a clear plastic bag on the front passenger floor of the vehicle containing 95 glassines of Heroin. All defendants were removed from the vehicle and placed under arrest.

All four defendants are each being charged with Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 3rd Degree. Guerra is additionally being charged with Criminal Sale Controlled Substance 3rd Degree. They will be arraigned on Friday, 05/29/15 in First District Court, Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
