(Long Island, NY) The Second Squad reports the arrest of a Glen Cove woman on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in Glen Cove for Grand Larceny.
According to detectives, a male victim while incarcerated at the Nassau County Correctional Facility, East Meadow was introduced to Paisley Bettis, 24, in May 2015 through a third party. The victim agreed to sign his personal property over to Paisley and requested she deliver it to his parents.

Upon his release he discovered that Paisley had withdrew $2000.00 in cash from his account using his ATM card which was included in the personal property prior to returning the property. Paisley was located on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at her residence and placed her under arrest without incident.
Paisley is charged with Grand Larceny 4th degree and will be arraigned on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
