(Hempstead, NY) Due to an ever-worsening weather forecast of flooding, thunderstorms and high winds, local non-profit EAC Network has postponed their annual “Golf For Good” outing originally scheduled for today, June 13th, at North Shore Country Club.
“We were kidding that 13 was an unlucky number, but this dangerous weather is no joke,” said Beth Seidman, Senior Director of Development and Community Relations. “North Shore Country Club has been very helpful in moving “Golf For Good” to Thursday, August 15th. We are looking on the bright side; maybe with the additional time to register, we will have even more supporters.”
Proceeds will benefit EAC Network’s 70 programs helping people in need throughout Long Island and the New York metro area. EAC Network is very proud to be honoring Mario J. Doyle, C.O.O. of Doyle Security Services and Richard M. Kessel, EAC Board member and expert in New York energy issues.
