Bishop is the first face that visitors see when they are greeted in a professional and friendly manner. Her pride and dedication is evident in her work, always going above and beyond her given task. It is not uncommon to find her taking time out of her day to bring a resident a cup of coffee or attend to someone’s needs. She resides in Sayville.
Since 1999, Good Samaritan Hospital has recognized exemplary employees that consistently go above and beyond their assigned duties and live by the hospital mission to promote excellence in care and commit to those in need. Nominations are submitted for review to a committee from co-workers, supervisors and patients. Samaritans are surprised in their department with a bouquet of flowers. A Samaritan of the Month presentation is held at the hospital with their co-workers and family.
