(West Islip, NY) The Guilds of Good Samaritan Hospital raised funds for the renovation of the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) family waiting area. The unit is staffed 24 hours a day with physicians and nurses specially trained and certified in the care of critically ill patients.
A multidisciplinary approach is taken, with a team of sub-specialists able to provide quality care as well as providing support to their families. Our services and specialists include trauma management, including the ability to care for cardiac, pulmonary and neurological emergencies.
