(LONG ISLAND, NY) The following statement was released today regarding the Conservative Party Nomination of Grant Lally:
“I am pleased and honored to have received the endorsements of the Nassau, Suffolk and Queens County Conservative parties. I have spent my entire political career working hand in hand with the New York State Conservative Party, so it is particularly meaningful to me that they have placed their trust in me” stated Grant Lally.
“I think Grant Lally is our best chance to win this congressional seat on the united Republican and Conservative ticket. He will bring sanity and strong leadership to congress” said Thomas Long, Chairman, Queens County Conservative Party.
“I am proud that Grant Lally is the endorsed candidate of the Conservative Party. He is a strong fiscal conservative, and will stop Obama and his cheerleader, Steve Israel” stated Danny Donovan, Chairman, Nassau County Conservative Party.
“The Suffolk County Conservative Party is proud to endorse Grant Lally. We look forward to Grant Lally beating Steve Israel and bringing conservative representation to the North Shore” stated Ed Walsh, Chairman of the Suffolk County Conservative Party.
“I want to thank Tom Long, Danny Donovan and Ed Walsh as well as Frank Tinari, The Town of Huntington Conservative Party Chairman, for their years of friendship and support. The Third Congressional District covers Long Island’s North Shore, and includes the Towns of Huntington, the northern 2/3 of Oyster Bay, most of North Hempstead, the western third of Smithtown; the City of Glen Cove; and the neighborhoods of Douglaston, Little Neck, Whitestone and Floral Park in Queens. The district is just over 50% in Nassau County; 40% in Suffolk County; and about 10% in Queens.
