HANNON: POTHOLE PROBLEMS? HERE’S WHO TO CONTACT
(Long Island, NY) “This winter has been particularly rough on our roads and highways,” said Senator Kemp Hannon (R-Nassau). “Potholes erupt wherever water or snow melt slips though cracks in pavement, and many of these are not just an inconvenience – they can be a major hazard causing serious damage to vehicles.”
Different roads are maintained by different jurisdictions, but each jurisdiction has dedicated crews who try to fix the potholes as soon as is feasible. If you spot or hit a pothole, you should try to report it as soon as possible. Below are phone numbers and e-mail addresses where you can report any potholes directly to the jurisdiction in charge.
