(Oceanside, NY) Wayne Howard Lipton, chief executive officer and managing partner of Concierge Choice Physicians, LLC., has been appointed to the Board of Directors of South Nassau Communities Hospital.

“Wayne has been in the vanguard of the developing and implementing the practices and strategies that have improved the access and delivery of healthcare,” said Richard J. Murphy, president and CEO of South Nassau. “He has a complete understanding and awareness of the challenges and changes that are affecting the healthcare industry and the steps that South Nassau must take to be sure that it fulfills its mission of meeting the healthcare needs of the communities it serves.”
Mr. Lipton has more than 35 years of experience in health care and business. Concierge Choice Physicians, LLC., a company he founded, services physicians nationally in marketing and administering concierge programs. Prior to heading up Concierge Choice Physicians, he served as chief operating officer for PhyMatrix, a public health care company. The Rockville Centre resident earned a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College and attended the University of Chicago Business School and the Boston Architectural Center.
