(Bellport, NY) Assemblyman Hennessey joined forces with NYLAG and the Bellport Boys and Girls Club to bring consumer and public benefits legal services to those residents who are unable to easily access legal help on their own.
NYLAG works in conjunction with the New York State Courts’ Access to Justice Program specifically to provide free civil legal services to those in need. The mobile van has meeting rooms and technology to enable it to function as a full-service office.

The Bellport Boys and Girls Club, which allowed the NYLAG van the use of its parking lot for residents looking to access its services, also offered free child care so that parents and guardians could meet with legal professionals one-on-one.
“I thank NYLAG and the Bellport Boys and Girls Club for stepping forward and being there for people in need. Both do important work. And I look forward to bringing the NYLAG van into other communities within the 3rd Assembly District,” said Assemblyman Hennessey.
