(Long Island, NY) The Second Squad reports the arrest of a Hicksville woman for a Robbery that occurred on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 11:32 a.m. in Hicksville.
According to detectives, Marina Tsoukalis, 28, entered the Domino’s located at 155 Levittown Parkway, concealing her hand under her sweater appearing to have a gun and demanded money from the female employee. The employee informed Tsoukalis that there was no money in the store at which time she left and entered the Modern Kitchen Chinese Restaurant next store and demanded the money from the male employee who handed over undisclosed amount cash.

The defendant fled on foot southbound towards Levittown Hall and was located a short time later by Bureau of Special Operation officers on Abbott Lane and placed under arrest. There were no injuries.
Tsoukalis is charged with Robbery 2nd degree and Attempted Robbery 2nd degree. She was arraigned on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
