(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a hit and run that injured a Sound Beach teen on Tuesday, November 24.
Kyle Fiore, 18, was operating a motor bike eastbound on Jamaica Drive when he was struck by a sedan at the intersection of Deer Road in Sound Beach at approximately 4:55 p.m. The driver of the light-colored, sedan which was traveling south on Deer Drive, fled the scene.

Fiore was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was treated for a broken femur and other non-life-threatening injuries.
The bike was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is asked to call Seventh Squad detectives at 631-852-8752 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
