(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police arrested an undomiciled man after he stabbed another man in Wyandanch on Friday, August 28.
First Precinct patrol officers responded to South 26th Street for a report of a fight in front of a residence. The victim, Gerald Guerrier, 41, of Wyandanch, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he is listed in serious but stable condition after he suffered stab wounds to his chest and back.

Jameson Fremont, 38, was discovered by police a short time later sleeping in a vehicle at the corner of Wyandanch Avenue and Straight Path and he was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree.
Freemont is being held at the First Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on August 29.
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
