(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police arrested a man on Friday, February 5 for a burglary he committed at a residence in Huntington Station in October, 2015.
An unknown male unlawfully entered a residence in Huntington Station on October 3, 2015 at approximately 7:40 p.m. The man was discovered by a homeowner who was inside. A struggle ensued and the intruder stated he had a handgun, before fleeing the scene.

Following an investigation by Second Squad detectives, DNA evidence recovered was linked to Scott Lundquist. Lundquist, 59, of Huntington Station, was arrested today at approximately 3:30 p.m. He was charged with Burglary 1st Degree, Assault 3rd Degree, and Resisting Arrest. He is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on February 6.
The investigation is continuing.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
